Dr. Hiva Panahi is a contemporary independent academic, scholar, writer, poet, and translator of Kurdish descent. She was a Research Fellow at the François Mitterrand Foundation. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Social Sciences, focusing on Political Sociology, from Panteion University, Greece. As an author, she has received international recognition for her contributions to Classical Studies. Her poetry is included in various anthologies, including "Austerity Measures," by Karen Van Dyck.

Ήττα
Είτε απλά, είτε δύσκολα,
Δες την ήττα
Προσπάθησε να καρφώσεις το βλέμμα σου στο βλέμμα της
Αυτή είναι η θεά των ημερών που ξεχειλίζει η ζωή μας από τη παρουσία της

Δες τις φλόγες που πετάει για να σπάσει τους πάγους των έργων μας
Ήττα, θεά των ημερών που είναι ρέουσα
Στοχάσου τα σύντομα στολίδια της χαράς πώς ξεθώριασαν
Σεργιανίζει αυτή και πανηγυρίζει την ήττα μας …..
