I have spent 22 years of my life, over half of my lifespan, in Greece. Initially, I was there through invitations to study there, and later I dedicated myself to cultural work, most notably to a groundbreaking doctoral thesis I developed entirely on my own. This work addresses a rare and significant subject, and I authored it as a poet. My works have been translated into over 20 languages worldwide.
During Greece’s devastating economic crisis that began in 2011, and following the death of my assigned supervisor, I have endured unimaginable pressures, coercion, and harassment from men within our university. Many events took place, forcing me to leave.
Then, by chance, in August of 2024 YouTube’s algorithm suggested speeches by a young Greek individual. What I discovered was shocking: my doctoral thesis, published in 2014 in my university’s library, was brutally plagiarized. This thesis represents a decade of systematic effort and six years of meticulous preparation, an innovative work supported by substantial documented evidence. The publishers in the UK that this individual approached issued a book with only the title changed, yet not a single page contains anything authentic. It is pure intellectual theft: stealing my ideas, my analysis systems, and my conclusions translated into English and presenting them as his own with total disregard. He has manipulated my analytical frameworks using technology, transforming them into his own “philosophical principles,” without any acknowledgment, permission, or conscience.
I demand justice. I call upon all those who despise theft, intellectual piracy, and the usurpation of hard work to stand with me. If anyone can offer tangible support, I would appreciate it if you could contact me privately. I need support!
This injustice must be exposed. I will not remain silent, because Intellectual property rights are recognized by laws worldwide under all circumstances! ΕΛΕΟΣ
I am shocked that this form of theft has gone uninvestigated to this day! It's unimaginable: the work of half a lifetime is simply stolen, published under some random name, and this crook is even handed a considerable sum of money. As a pastor and spiritual advisor, I am unable to take action, but I want to amplify the cry of the abused woman, Hiva Panahi, and ask for help from everyone who can get involved in this matter, stop the perpetrator, and bring him to justice and imprisonment.
