Hiva Panahi

Dr. Hiva Panahi, a Kurdish-origin academic poet, is renowned for blending classical and modern themes. She received the Andreas Margarita Papandreou Foundation scholarship. With a PhD in Political Science from the University of Panteion, her research focused on the Promethean Man and political systems. It is a great honor for me that Professor Roderick Beaton, the first Koraes Professor of Modern Greek and Byzantine History, Language and Literature in the Classics Department at King's College, London, has chosen my poem “The Breath of Olive Tree» from my poetry collection "Secrets of the Snow,"& "Austerity Measures"Karen Van Dyck for his great book “The Greeks: A Global History,” which is 590 pages by BASIC BOOKS NY,2022 and Hiva's poem is in page 463- 464
